The world is experiencing a global talent shortage and New Zealand is not immune to this. Multiple sectors and industries are facing severe skills shortages and need better ways to access and attract international talent. 

To help address this issue, New Zealand Story has launched Recruitment Storyteller, a new campaign targeting international workers. The initiative is a public-private collaboration, led by New Zealand Story.

The campaign’s aim is to equip New Zealand businesses with the tools to tailor their offshore recruitment efforts, while allowing industry to achieve coordinated brand New Zealand storytelling in the face of skills shortages felt across the globe. 

Recruitment Storyteller provides businesses with a toolkit of free marketing resources for the Technology sector, utilising the existing Tech and Innovation Story See Tomorrow First. 

There are two ways to activate – individually, downloading assets from our toolkit or through a centralised recruitment solution managed by HainesAttract, led for the sector through New Zealand Tech.

Technology is one of New Zealand’s largest export earners and continues to grow rapidly, but global awareness of our strength and capability in this sector remains low with businesses in need of talent.

The New Zealand Tech and Innovation Story, See Tomorrow First, is an international marketing initiative created to present a compelling and consistent story that we can use to grow awareness of our amazing tech capability globally. It was developed and tested with input from hundreds of New Zealand tech businesses both domestically and internationally.

Utilising See Tomorrow First, New Zealand Tech is the industry lead for Tech Recruitment Storyteller and will coordinate activation through WorkHere, a centralised recruitment solution run by HainesAttract.
