New Zealand is known as a forward-thinking country with progressive views, but when it comes to LGBTQI+ rights, New Zealand has been rated as a world-leader.

The Proud Together campaign promotes New Zealand’s values as a tolerant, progressive, and inclusive society. New Zealand Government agencies can download, share and use the creative content at events with an overseas audience or on social media.

Social Story

A short video has been created for social media as a visual and engaging way to educate people about New Zealand’s open and tolerant society.

Share the video directly from our Facebook page or download from the toolkit (login with your government email address to download and view the assets).

Add the #ProudTogether hashtag to your posts when sharing on social media.

Rainbow FernMark Logo

The Rainbow FernMark has been designed to symbolise New Zealand’s tolerant, diverse and progressive society. It’s a mark to show New Zealand’s commitment to equality and diversity, and support for LGBTQI+ rights.

Government agencies can use the logo on printed or digital collateral including banners, t-shirts, brochures, flags and more. Refer to the 'How to Guide' for more detailed usage instructions.

Use infographics on social media, in presentations, and at events to highlight New Zealand’s position as a tolerant, forward-thinking country with progressive views.
